What To Expect When Your Employee Is Expecting
997 Lenox Drive, Building 3

Your employee just advised you that she is pregnant. Congratulations! Now what?
Employers in New Jersey already have to comply with competing leave and benefit laws, which are complicated enough. Governor Chris Christie recently signed a bill expanding the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination and requiring employers to provide reasonable accommodations to pregnant employees, which is very similar to a Philadelphia law that was recently passed.
Join us as we explore how these laws will impact rights and obligations under the FMLA and NJFLA as well as affect short-term disability benefits.
