Zoning, Subdivision and Land Development Law in New Jersey
Jack Plackter, a partner with Fox Rothschild LLP, will moderate a panel on “Zoning, Subdivision and Land Development Law in New Jersey.” The seminar, presented by Lorman Education Services, will take place on June 25, 2008, at the Quality Hotel Bayside Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Plackter will moderate the session, which will discuss the complex process of adhering to zoning laws and development regulations, and offer techniques to get through the entitlement process. Additional topics include anatomy of a land use application, variances, hearings, appeals, other required agency approvals, zoning, redevelopment law recent case developments, and affordable housing.
Plackter, who co-chairs the firm’s Zoning & Land Use Practice, concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate development and land use, environmental law, redevelopment law, real estate transactions, and banking law. His experience also includes: aiding clients with approval, development, financing, construction, and operation of major development projects throughout New Jersey; obtaining permits and approvals for major casino/hotel construction projects in Atlantic City; and litigating substantial real estate development and environmental cases in the trial courts, appellate courts, and the New Jersey Supreme Court.
