Thomas J. Kent, Jr., a partner with Fox Rothschild LLP, will present a franchise, licensing and distribution seminar at the Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry headquarters in Malvern, PA on October 29, 2008.
Kent will present, “Is Your Business the Next Big Thing? Then It May Be Time To Franchise.” The seminar offers attendees practical guidance for business owners on developing a franchise system, covering topics such as ensuring transferability of the system, developing brand identity, enhancing profitability, providing franchisee support and raising capital.
Kent, who is a member of the firm’s Franchising, Licensing & Distribution Practice resident in the Chester County office, focuses his practice on all aspects of franchising as well as mergers and acquisitions and corporate/partnership organization and reorganization. He has counseled U.S. and international franchise companies on a variety of matters, including growth and exit strategies for franchise systems, financing, commercial real estate matters, employment matters and enforcement of franchise agreements. Highly experienced in the development of franchise systems, Kent began his legal career as in-house counsel with an international franchise corporation before entering private practice.
