Sigety, chair of the firm’s Franchising, Licensing & Distribution Group and a co-chair of the Emerging Companies & Venture Capital Practice Group, is a trusted adviser to clients, including startup companies and entrepreneurs, handling business and financial transactions such as venture capital and angel financing, mergers and acquisitions, franchising, securities, private placements, franchise regulatory matters and franchise agreements.
Regularly named a “Legal Eagle” by the Franchise Times, Sigety is active with the International Franchise Association (IFA), the leading organization for the franchise industry. She has been recognized as a Certified Franchise Executive by the IFA and was appointed to and serves on the Women’s Franchise Committee of the IFA. In addition, she co-founded the IFA’s Philadelphia Chapter of the Women’s Franchise Network and formerly served on the committee that is formulating an educational course for professional athletes who want to start a franchised business through the Certified Athlete Franchise Committee of the Professional Athlete Franchise Initiative (PAFI), a partner organization of the IFA.
