Gregory's energy law and corporate practice focuses on oil and gas exploration and development transactions. He has substantial experience in the acquisition and development of oil and gas reserves, assisting clients with transactional and operational issues that arise with numerous producing basins throughout the United States, including nonconventional production such as coal-bed methane. Gregory also has an extensive background in the federal income tax implications associated with such transactions.

On the corporate side, Gregory handles the financing, formation, operation and liquidation of joint venture and partnership arrangements. His representations span a range of domestic and foreign financial institutions, and he provides loan production financing and other revolving credit facilities to the extractive industries.

Prior to joining Fox, Gregory was a member of the oil & gas and energy law practices at a national law firm.

Before entering private practice, Gregory was a senior tax attorney with Sun Company in Dallas and with The Superior Oil Company in Houston. In these roles, he handled numerous domestic and international acquisitions of oil and gas interests.
