Biography

Irina has more than 20 years of experience assisting corporations, partnerships, property owners, small business owners and developers in all aspects of complex commercial litigation. She leverages her diversified background and deep knowledge of commercial and corporate issues to provide strategic counsel for clients across industries who face shareholder and LLC member business disputes, real estate development and redevelopment hurdles in both residential and commercial transactions, and property rights litigation involving Section 1983 and NJLAD. Her extensive experience also includes handling class action litigation, estate litigation and unfair competition claims involving computer theft, cybersquatting and intellectual property infringement.

A skilled member of a litigation team recognized as tops in the state by the New Jersey Law Journal, Irina has successfully led trial and appellate cases before New Jersey and New York State courts, as well as before federal courts.

Irina’s crosscutting knowledge and experience makes her an integral part of various corporate departments in the firm. In particular, she works closely with the Real Estate Department and Land Use Practice in disputes with municipalities, including actions in lieu of prerogative writs, as well as disputes concerning real estate contracts, affordable housing, redevelopment, and eminent domain issues that affect developers and property owners.

Before Fox Rothschild

While in law school, she served as an intern with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Southern District of New York, involving a criminal trial for a violation of civil rights, and an appeal of a historical designation. She was also a Judicial Intern for the Honorable William Bassler, U.S.D.J., as well as an Intern with the Rutgers Urban Legal Clinic involving a Third Circuit appeal in a Section 1983 civil rights action. In addition, she served as the Articles Editor and Faculty Liaison for the Rutgers Law Record.
