As a partner in Fox's Financial Restructuring & Bankruptcy and Entertainment & Sports Law practices, Jeffrey focuses in the areas of:

Jeff has represented the interests of all types of parties (including sports related clients) in financial restructurings and corporate reorganizations in Delaware. His clients are both domestic and internationally based, with highlights including the representation of Major League Baseball in the Los Angeles Dodgers case, a potential purchaser in the Dallas Stars restructuring and ad hoc creditor committees and other senior parties in some of the largest cases in Delaware (including Washington Mutual; Energy Future Holdings; Claire’s Stores; Nortel; American Apparel). He has also represented distressed businesses going through restructurings including companies in the following industries: healthcare; mining and steel pellet production; electric vehicle and energy storage; pallet leasing and logistics; event rental services and products.
In addition, Jeff advises corporations and limited liability companies on Delaware law. He also represents clients in litigation before Delaware courts.
Jeff is a certified mediator for commercial disputes. He completed an intensive mediation training program at the Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law. He is also certified as a mediator by the Delaware Superior Court.
Beyond Fox Rothschild
Jeff is one of the owners of a Class A minor league affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. In 2016, he completed a program at the Minor League Baseball University in St. Petersburg, Florida.
He is the Chair of an ABA sports law committee, authoring legal updates and organizing and monitoring panels on topics including biometric monitoring and NCAA basketball bribery scandals.
He is currently enrolled in the graduate program in Sports Industry Management at Georgetown University.
Jeff is an adjunct professor of law at the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William & Mary.
Jeff has been active in various community and nonprofit organizations, including current service on the Boards and Executive Committees of the Delaware Historical Society and Grand Opera House. Previously he served on the Board of Directors (past President) of the Westover Hills Civic Association, the National Advisory Council for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, and Chaired the Building and Grounds Committee of CCCH and a Committee for the local United Way annual campaign.
Jeffrey has been engaged in various professional organizations, including the ABA, ABI and Sports Law Association.
Before Fox Rothschild
Prior to joining Fox, Jeffrey was an equity partner and Chairman of the Board at his former firm. Prior to attending law school, Jeffrey worked at the Federal Reserve and subsequently for a large financial institution in strategic planning and economics.
