Biography

John is a member of the firm’s litigation group, where he handles a variety of legal issues including constitutional law, contract and business disputes, intellectual property rights, employment and discrimination law, insurance coverage and defense, trusts & estates, environmental law, landlord/tenant disputes and real estate tax matters. 

John is a seasoned litigator who regularly appears before municipal, state, and federal courts, as well as administrative agencies.

John also has experience counseling school districts, school boards, charter schools and private schools on issues concerning tenure, student and staff free speech, special education, civil rights complaints, electoral reapportionment, employment and unemployment benefits, school board policies, collective bargaining agreements, grievances, mandatory staff training, anti-bullying issues, OPRA requests and school board ethics.

Before Fox Rothschild

Prior to joining Fox, John served as a law clerk to the Honorable Freda L. Wolfson of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the Honorable Virginia Long of the New Jersey Supreme Court.  He was also an attorney at a New Jersey-based law firm.

While in law school, John was a member of the Order of the Coif and served as notes editor of the Rutgers Law Review.
