Kathryn centers her practice on corporate and franchising law. She has experience in guiding brands through registration, assignments, acquisitions, contract disputes and other issues. She advises clients on brand development and protection of intellectual property assets, such as trademarks, trade secrets and copyrights.
Kathryn is also well-versed in entity formation and corporate governance and has experience working with product manufacturers, distributors, buyers and sellers in mergers and acquisitions. Kathryn handles agreements and due diligence related to distribution, licensing, confidentiality, disclosure, asset and stock purchase and other issues.
Before Fox Rothschild
Prior to joining Fox, Kathryn was an associate in the Franchise & Distribution group of a Minneapolis-based law firm.
During her time in Notre Dame Law School, Kathryn was a student attorney in the Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship Clinic, as well as the university's Office of the General Counsel. She also served as an extern to U.S. District Judge Joan Ericksen of the District of Minnesota and interned for the University of Minnesota's Office of the General Counsel. Additionally, Kathryn served as a member of the student government for Notre Dame Law School and the College of Saint Benedict.
