Hot Tips for Handling Disciplinary & Discharge Cases
Kenneth A. Rosenberg of Fox Rothschild to Moderate ECBA Labor & Employment Law Panel
Kenneth A. Rosenberg, an attorney with Fox Rothschild LLP, will serve as moderator for the Essex County Bar Foundation’s “Hot Tips for Handling Disciplinary & Discharge Cases.” The panel discussion will be held at Fox Rothschild’s Roseland, New Jersey office on November 8, 2007, from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m.
Presented by the Essex County Bar Association’s Labor & Employment Law Committee, the panel will discuss handling attendance issues in light of the FMLA/ADA; handling disciplinary/discharge issues in union v. non-union settings, including a discussion of just cause and progressive discipline standards; workplace privacy issues; and addressing violence in the work place.
Rosenberg is a member of Fox’s Labor & Employment Department. He represents employers in various labor relations matters, including contract negotiations, interest and grievance arbitrations, disciplinary matters, unionization campaigns, unit clarification issues, and unfair/improper practice proceedings. A frequent speaker on labor law topics, Rosenberg has presented before the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education, the Public Employment Relations Commission’s Annual Conference, the New Jersey Association of Counties’ Annual Conference, the New York State Public Employer Labor Relations Association's Annual Conference, and the Council on Education in Management.
