She represents clients in:
- Dissolution, legal separation and nullity of marriage or domestic partnership
- Parentage actions
- Palimony actions

- Property division
- Prenuptial, postnuptial and cohabitation agreements
- Domestic violence

While many disputes can be resolved amicably through negotiations, Kimia is a fierce advocate for her clients in Family Court when that is the best or only option to protect their interests. She also serves as a consulting attorney to clients who are in mediation to resolve their divorce or legal separation.
Before Fox Rothschild
Prior to joining Fox Rothschild, Kimia was a family law associate at two California law firms.
During law school, Kimia served as a student attorney for the Asylum and Refugee Clinic at Pepperdine University School of Law, where she conducted client interviews, reviewed documents, prepared asylum applications and attended immigration court proceedings. Beyond Fox Rothschild
Kimia is the founder of the firm’s Working Parents Group, which provides a forum for attorneys with children to support each other in their efforts to balance family life and a legal career. She founded the group after returning to work following the birth of her first child.
She was a participant in Fox Rothschild’s Empowered Hour: 55 Tips in 55 Minutes program, in which the firm’s Los Angeles-based women attorneys shared insights and meaningful connections with fellow women executives and entrepreneurs. She is also a member of HeyMama, a network built for working mothers to collaborate and empower one another.
In addition, she regularly represents deserving, disadvantaged clients in family court matters on a pro bono basis.
