Linda focuses her practice on patent drafting and prosecution, as well as management and development of global patent portfolios in a variety of life sciences fields including biotechnology, molecular biology, immunology, oncology and genetics.

She has advised and interacted extensively with clients and inventors to evaluate the business value of inventions, to devise strategies for drafting U.S. and foreign patent applications and to guide examination strategy before worldwide patent offices. Linda manages a complex patent docket for a variety of clients and assists companies and individuals with the preparation of patent applications and responses to USPTO office actions and international search reports and written opinions. Linda also assists with competitive landscape and due diligence analyses and preparation of non-infringement, invalidity and freedom to operate analyses. She is also experienced in preparing and negotiating technology licensing confidentiality, collaborative research and material transfer agreements.

Linda holds a Ph.D. in physical chemistry and has a detailed understanding of molecular and cancer biology, immunology, biophysics, biochemistry and nanotechnology that she developed during more than a decade of interdisciplinary research. She is further a named inventor on three patent applications.

Before Fox Rothschild

Prior to joining Fox, Linda was an intellectual property manager at an international cancer research institute. Before that, she conducted postdoctoral research at Northwestern University and at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute at University of Michigan. 

Linda also participated in Northwestern University's highly competitive Business for Scientists and Engineers program, where she received a scholarship. She also earned her Intellectual Property Graduate Certificate from the University of Münster in Germany and has completed coursework in patent law and trade secrets at New York University.
