Greensboro Bar Association Names Lisa Arthur President-Elect

Fox Rothschild LLP congratulates Lisa W. Arthur, named president-elect of the Greensboro Bar Association (GBA) for the 2019-2020 term. She will assume the role of president in 2020.

In this role, Arthur will learn about the role of the president and assist the president with any tasks that he directs. As president-elect, she will also plan the GBA’s Annual CLE. A longstanding member of the GBA, Arthur previously served as president of its Young Lawyers Section and has been a member of the board since 2016.

An associate in the firm’s Greensboro office, Arthur defends municipalities in a variety of disputes in state and federal court, including excessive force claims, negligence actions, constitutional claims, zoning disputes and breach of contract litigation.

She earned her J.D., with honors, and her B.S. from the University of North Carolina.

Arthur will begin her term as president-elect on June 1.
