Fox Rothschild Expands Real Estate Practice in New Jersey with Team of Eight Attorneys

February 25, 2013 – Press Releases

In a move that bolsters its already significant New Jersey presence and expands its real estate practice, Fox Rothschild LLP welcomes a team of eight attorneys from Day Pitney LLP.

Robert A. Klausner, Deirdre E. Moore and Christopher M. Rider – all noted by Chambers USA as leading real estate attorneys in New Jersey – have joined Fox as partners. Mat D. Carlson has also joined as a partner. This group boosts the firm’s real estate practice, which has an expansive footprint in New Jersey.

In addition, the team will spearhead the opening of a Fox office in Morristown, NJ, in the summer of 2013. Currently ranked #6 among New Jersey law firms by the New Jersey Law Journal, Fox has three offices in the state with more than 150 attorneys.

"Bob, Deirdre and their team have assisted many of the leading real estate developers in the State of New Jersey, as well as other nationally recognized companies in the growth of their real estate portfolios," says Stanley L. Goodman, Managing Partner of the firm's Roseland office. “We have been looking to expand our transactional practice in Northern New Jersey for quite a while and to find such a prestigious real estate group, one of the few groups in New Jersey rated Band 1 by Chambers USA, is quite an exciting opportunity for Fox.”

“We are continually looking to expand our corporate and real estate transactional practice and believe that this group, together with the opening of our Morristown office, will make Fox more attractive to other quality transactional attorneys,” continued Goodman. “We are thrilled to have them join us, and we know that clients will find their extensive and varied knowledge of the real estate market in the Garden State and nationally to be a valuable asset."

According to Mark L. Silow, Fox's Firmwide Managing Partner, "The addition of Bob, Deirdre and their team is consistent with the firm's overall strategy of adding quality lateral partners while also remaining focused on organic growth." Silow added, "Fox remains committed to further developing its national footprint by strengthening existing offices and practice groups as well as seeking new locations and additional skill sets."
