Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to announce that Douglas J. Zeltt has been named co-chair of the firm’s Corporate Department and Matthew S. Adams will co-chair the White-Collar Compliance & Defense Practice Group.
Zeltt joins Jeffery H. Nicholas in piloting the nationwide corporate team, and Adams will lead the white-collar group with Charles A. De Monaco.
“Our chairs play a pivotal role in helping us plan and execute the firm’s overall strategy,” said Fox Firmwide Managing Partner Mark L. Morris. “As our Corporate and White-Collar groups continue to grow nationally, we are confident that Doug and Matt, together with Jeff and Chuck, will build upon the foundations in place and work to elevate and enhance the firm’s services.”
Since 1992, Zeltt has served as outside general counsel and a trusted adviser to privately held businesses, professional practices, entrepreneurs and high net worth individuals and families. His practice is focused on mergers and acquisitions, joint venture transactions, commercial financing transactions, business succession planning and strategic counseling. Zeltt is the former managing partner of Fox's Princeton office and a former member of the firm’s Executive Committee.
Adams is a criminal and civil trial lawyer with an active litigation practice in federal and state courts, as well as before administrative agencies, regulatory bodies and in alternate dispute resolution forums throughout the United States. He serves as defense counsel to individuals and entities facing state or federal criminal charges, regulatory or enforcement actions or that are the target of an investigation by local, state or federal law enforcement agencies or regulatory bodies. Adams strategically builds and defends cases through digital forensics and other non-traditional forms of evidence, including where the use of such evidence presents issues of first impression for the courts and other forums in which he appears. His largest criminal defense successes have come where his clients were investigated but never prosecuted.
