Aaron Weems Elected Chair of Montgomery Bar Association’s Family Law Section

Fox Rothschild LLP Partner Aaron D. Weems has been elected Chair of the Montgomery Bar Association’s Family Law Section. He will serve in the role for a one-year term effective January 1, 2021. A longtime, active member of the Section, he previously served terms as Vice-Chair (2020), Treasurer (2019) and Secretary (2018).

In his role as chair, Weems will work with the Montgomery County Bar Association’s leadership, Family Law Section officers and its subcommittees to coordinate monthly meetings wherein the Section’s membership of more than 200 attorneys can address timely family law topics and connect with the Family Court judges, hearing officers and administrators of the Court of Common Pleas of Montgomery County.

Weems, a litigation attorney in Fox’s Family Law Practice Group, handles a range of family law matters dealing with divorce, adoption, custody, child and spousal support, the equitable distribution of assets and the negotiation and preparation of prenuptial and post-nuptial agreements. He consistently contributes to legal publications including The Legal Intelligencer, The Matrimonial Strategist and The Family Lawyer Magazine, as well as the firm’s Family Law Blog.

He earned his J.D. and B.A. from Villanova University and is active in several charitable organizations including pro bono work through Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania and Philadelphia VIP.
