Catherine Mitchell Appointed to Board of Trustees for North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics

Fox Rothschild LLP congratulates Catherine B. Mitchell, who was appointed by North Carolina Senate Leader Phil Berger to serve on the Board of Trustees for the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics.

The 27-seat board is comprised of appointees selected by the University of North Carolina Board of Governors in conjunction with North Carolina’s Legislature. The trustees meet quarterly on campus and provide guidance and oversight for the school in executing its mission to educate academically talented students to become state, national, and global leaders in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

A member of Fox’s Real Estate Department, Mitchell represents developers, landlords, tenants and lenders in commercial real estate transactions. She primarily assists developers and investors in the acquisition, disposition and leasing of commercial properties and counsels lenders in real estate financing.

Mitchell earned her J.D., cum laude, from Mercer University’s School of Law and her B.A. in History from Sewanee: The University of the South.
