A jury Wednesday awarded more than $1.3 million to one doctor suing another over a Wayne orthopedic and sports medicine practice in which they were partners.

Dr. Nader Fahimi sued Dr. Vincent Mc Inerney, principal of Northland Orthopedic and Sports Medicine, claiming he was owed money from an employment contract he had with the practice that began in 2005 and was terminated in 2007. The jury agreed, awarding him $1,372,640.
