Fox Rothschild LLP congratulates Donna B. More on being named by Crain’s Chicago Business to its 2018 list of “Notable Women Lawyers” who have made significant contributions to the industry over the past year.
More, who serves as the firm’s Chicago Office Managing Partner, is renowned for her representation of clients in regulated industries such as gaming and cannabis. Drawing on her experience as general counsel to the Illinois Gaming Board and a prosecutor in the Northern District of Illinois and the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, she provides strategic guidance to clients on corporate compliance issues; licensing, regulatory and transactional matters; and hearings before administrative agencies.
A leader in Chicago’s legal community, More is the founder and co-chair of the Chicago Bar Association’s Gaming Law Committee and a member of the International Masters of Gaming Law. She had a pivotal role in the creation of Illinois gaming law and remains influential in the regulation of the state’s gaming industry.
Earlier this year, More was recognized as a “Woman of Influence” by the Chicago Business Journal. She was also named in 2018 to The National Law Journal’s list of Trailblazers in Regulatory and Compliance work for her lasting impact on the gaming industry and the emerging cannabis industry.
More received her J.D. from Georgetown University; her M.A. from Northwestern University and her B.A. from Tufts University.
