Fox Rothschild LLP congratulates Eliana Baer and Christopher R. Kinkade, who have been honored as 2018 New Leaders of the Bar by the New Jersey Law Journal.
The annual award is presented to young lawyers in the Garden State who have built accomplished careers and established themselves as leaders both within their firms and the larger legal community.
Elevated to partner in 2017, Baer represents clients in issues relating to divorce, equitable distribution, cohabitation, paternity, nuanced support, custody, adoption, domestic violence, social media, premarital agreements, post-judgment matters and appeals. She was named a 2016 Family Law Trailblazer by The National Law Journal, an honor bestowed upon attorneys who are fundamentally changing the ways that family law is practiced.
Baer also regularly contributes to the firm’s New Jersey Family Legal Blog, which provides practical information and useful tips on a range of family law topics.
Within the community, Baer sits on the Young Lawyers Advisory Board to the New Jersey Law Journal and she serves on the board of the American Association of Jewish Attorneys.
She earned her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and her B.A., magna cum laude, from Yeshiva University, Stern College for Women.
A patent attorney and intellectual property litigator, Kinkade helps clients manage, protect and enforce their intellectual property rights. He represents clients from small businesses to international corporations in all stages of litigation, commercial transactions and licensing. He serves as the firm’s Princeton office Litigation Administrator.
With extensive experience litigating complex matters pertaining to patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets and breaches of contract, Kinkade has represented clients in federal courts across the country. He regularly counsels clients in risk mitigation and avoidance, licensing, due diligence and other commercial transactions and assists clients in developing their intellectual property portfolios through patent prosecution and trademark registration.
Kinkade received his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and his B.S. from University of Rochester.
