Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to welcome Heidy Vaquerano as a partner in the firm’s Entertainment & Sports Law Department in Los Angeles.
“Heidy negotiates talent, content and production agreements across multiple platforms and mediums, and handles licensing and merchandising matters,” said Darrell D. Miller, founding chair of Fox’s Entertainment and Sports Department. “She has a particularly strong music industry practice and is also a savvy technology and intellectual property attorney.”

Vaquerano has nearly two decades of experience in tech and entertainment, representing actors, Grammy®-nominated musicians, global merchandise companies, film and television producers, writers, production companies, independent record labels, tech startups and consultants.
She has worked extensively with musicians and record labels. In 2020, Billboard named her a “Top Music Lawyer,” highlighting her work negotiating the sale of Blink-182 founder and former member Tom DeLonge’s song catalog to Hipgnosis. She is on the SXSW Pitch Advisory Board and is member of Women in Film, Women in Music and the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences.
A leader and advocate on diversity and inclusion issues, Vaquerano is the former Managing Director of Girls in Tech Los Angeles, a nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating the gender gap in technology. She is also a board member of Mayor Garcetti’s WiSTEM Initiative whose goal is to empower women of all levels to lead Los Angeles STEM revolution through mentorship, networking and community building.
Vaquerano earned her J.D. from Southwestern Law School and her B.A. from the University of Southern California.
Prior to joining Fox, she was a senior attorney in the Entertainment & Intellectual Property Practice of a California-based law firm.
