Fox Grows Miami Office with Seasoned Real Estate Partner Steven W. Zelkowitz

Bolstering the firm’s South Florida presence, Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to welcome Steven W. Zelkowitz to the firm’s Miami office as a partner in the Real Estate Department.

Zelkowitz will assume a leadership position within the office and play a vital role in guiding the future growth of Fox’s Miami office.

Zelkowitz represents public and private clients in complex real estate, land use and zoning matters. He has significant transactional experience in the sale and purchase of commercial properties, leasing, lending and title insurance. He also represents developers in major construction projects, including the hospitality industry, and handles public/private partnership (P3) transactions for large-scale transportation and public works projects.

In his government relations work, Zelkowitz serves as general and special counsel to a number of community redevelopment agencies (CRAs) in South Florida, including the North Miami CRA, North Miami Beach CRA, Hallandale Beach CRA and Naranja Lakes CRA.

A leader in the business community, Zelkowitz is recognized as a top real estate attorney in Florida by Chambers USA and has been named among the Power Leaders in Law by the South Florida Business Journal.

Zelkowitz is an advocate for his home community and currently serves as a Councilman for Miami Shores Village.

Zelkowitz was previously Managing Shareholder of Gray Robinson's Miami and Ft. Lauderdale offices and Co-Chair of the Hospitality Industry Practice Group. He earned his B.S. from the University of Massachusetts and an M.C.R.P and J.D. from Rutgers University.
