Fox Represents Fortress Brand in Platform Investment by Trivest Partners

Fox Rothschild LLP represented Fortress Brand (“Fortress”), a leading technology-enabled direct-to-consumer channel partner that leverages proprietary software and data analytics to provide full-service retail management for brands on Amazon® and other e-commerce marketplaces, in its platform investment transaction with Trivest Partners, LP (“Trivest”), a prominent middle-market private equity fund based in Miami.

Fortress, headquartered in New York, NY, offers its clients a fully outsourced, turnkey e-commerce solution for its clients, providing re-seller protection, product development, and creative services within the world’s largest online marketplaces.

The transaction, which closed on June 22, 2020 following a purely remote deal process, will allow Fortress to continue its singular focus on driving game-changing growth for its clients in the Amazon® and similar ecosystems as well as accelerate the expansion of its menu of value-added solutions. In addition, Fortress Brand is now actively looking for potential add-on or partnership opportunities with like-minded businesses, specifically: (i) traditional digital marketing/advertising agencies, (ii) direct-to-consumer e-commerce channel managers, (3) brands that have not yet optimized their Amazon® footprint, and (4) pure-play Amazon® pay-per-click management agencies.
