Raymond Lyons and Douglas Zeltt were quoted in the Law360 article "Fox Rothschild Adds Retired Bankruptcy Judge to NJ Office." While the full text can be found in the July 11, 2013, issue of Law360, a synopsis is noted below.

Retired bankruptcy judge Raymond T. Lyons has joined Fox Rothschild LLP as counsel after recently completing a 14-year term on the bench in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey. Lyons will assist clients in mediation and alternative dispute resolution, bolstering the firm’s financial restructuring practice.

“As a judge, you get to make the final decision,” Lyons said. “Being a mediator, you’re just trying to help people come to an agreement, you don’t control the process. The challenge is to help bring about a meeting of the minds.”

Lyons said receiving an offer from Fox was “serendipitous,” noting that Fox is “a nationally recognized firm of high quality, with a strong financial restructuring practice.”

“Judge Lyons is recognized and renowned for his significant and breakthrough mediation work in bankruptcy cases,” said Douglas Zeltt. “His steadfast dedication to helping effect amicable resolutions in highly complex cases is lauded by both the business community and the bankruptcy bar.”

“We are truly honored to have him join our team and provide his strategic insight in bankruptcy mediation to the benefit of Fox clients,” Zeltt said.
