BBBS and Fox Rothschild have a century-old history together. The late Charles Edwin Fox, one of the founders of Fox Rothschild, was also a founder of BBBS, and since that time, Fox Rothschild has been engaged in various service activities to further the mission of BBBS. Recent representative examples include participation in the annual Bowl for Kids sake, a charity bowling event benefiting BBBS, and hosting “Beyond School Walls,” which gives children of BBBS an opportunity to experience office life during lunch-time visits to the firm. Firm attorneys also are active adult BBBS volunteers and serve as board members of the organization’s various chapters.

Headquartered in Philadelphia with a network of nearly 400 agencies across the country, BBBS serves nearly 250,000 children. It is the nation’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network and makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”). BBBS’ system of ongoing evaluation and support is proven by independent studies to help families by improving the odds that “Littles” will perform better in school and avoid violence and illegal activities as well as maintain stronger relationships with their parents and others.
