April 30, 2014 – Press Releases

Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to present its first conference in Israel, titled “Solving Problems in U.S.-Israel Cross-Border Transactions,” in Tel Aviv on May 13 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Neil Bush, son and brother of two former U.S. Presidents, will deliver the keynote speech at the program.

This thought-provoking conference, tailored to both Israeli and U.S. investors, will offer practical solutions to various issues that may arise during inbound and outbound transactions.

“We are very excited to be hosting our first event in Israel and solidifying the firm’s presence in the region,” said Michael A. Sweet, partner with Fox Rothschild. “We hope this event will shed light on the legal issues that can arise during cross-border transactions for companies working in the United States and Israel.”

The event will feature two panel discussions providing a spectrum of perspectives on the complex investment challenges of cross-border M&A transactions.

A networking luncheon will follow the keynote address by Bush, allowing attendees ample opportunity to discuss the challenges they have faced in cross-border transactions.

Among the many distinguished panelists and moderators are Fox Rothschild partners Mark H. Hess, Sweet, Peter J. Tucci, Jim Singer and Audrey Noll.

Drawing upon its deep reservoir of Israeli relationships, clients and legal/business interests, Fox has developed a growing presence in Israel. Hess and Noll spend part of their time living and working in Israel, and are well-positioned to assist clients in a range of issues that affect their businesses.

The firm’s Israel Practice Group, led by Hess and Sweet, is a team of attorneys with strong connections to U.S./Israeli initiatives and extensive backgrounds and proficiencies in U.S./Israeli cross-border transactions. The practice offers innovation, experience and vast resources to its Israeli clients, ranging from start-up ventures to market-leading public companies, and provides comprehensive representation for Israeli-related business transactions, including corporate finance, real estate, banking, litigation, intellectual property, bankruptcy/insolvency and inbound or outbound fund-raising activities and other investment opportunities.

The conference will be at the Herzog Fox & Neeman Conference Centre and is co-sponsored by Gaia Real Estate, Ben Horin Alexandrovitz Strategy and Communication, Herzog Fox & Neeman and the Israel-American Chamber of Commerce.
