Gordon Gouveia Named to American Bankruptcy Institute’s ‘40 Under 40’ Class of 2018October 10, 2018 – Press Releases
Fox Rothschild LLP congratulates Gordon E. Gouveia, who was selected to the 2018 Class of the American Bankruptcy Institute’s “40 Under 40” Emerging Leaders in Insolvency.
ABI is the largest multi-disciplinary, nonpartisan organization dedicated to research and education on matters related to insolvency. Chosen from more than 200 nominees, the ABI “40 Under 40” Class of 2018 identifies 40 emerging leaders in the insolvency profession from large and small firms across the country who represent diverse practice areas such as law, finance, consulting, academia, government and more.
“The 2018 ABI ‘40 Under 40’ Class is already advancing the bankruptcy profession forward,” said ABI Executive Director Samuel J. Gerdano. “Each of these remarkable young men and women are attaining achievements not just in their professional careers, but also as leaders in their communities.”
At Fox, Gouveia is a partner in the Financial Restructuring & Bankruptcy Department who handles a comprehensive range of business bankruptcy and insolvency matters, including representation of chapter 11 debtors, creditor committees, chapter 7 trustees and creditors, as well as complex insolvency-related litigation. He recently served as co-chair of the Bankruptcy Court Liaison Committee for the Northern District of Illinois and has been an active member of the ABI, Turnaround Management Association and Chicago Bar Association for many years.
Gouveia earned his J.D. from Vanderbilt University and his B.A., summa cum laude, from Boston College. He will be recognized at a special luncheon during ABI’s 2018 Winter Leadership Conference on December 6-8 in Scottsdale, Arizona.
