Historical Society Walk Highlights French Historical Figure

Fox Rothschild Corporate Department Co-Chair Peter J. Tucci was featured in an article about an historical walk at Bordentown Bluffs where Joseph-Napoleon Bonaparte, the French diplomat and nobleman and the brother of Napoleon Bonaparte, once resided.

Tucci is a member of the Bordentown Historical Society’s Board of Trustees and a prominent collector of Bonaparte memorabilia.

In an interview, Tucci told CentralJersey.com: “Many of Napoleon’s generals who had to flee France congregated at Point Breeze because [Joseph] was Napoleon’s older brother.... [Y]ou think of these people fighting at Waterloo – losing – and then fleeing to the United States to have dinner in Bordentown, New Jersey. That is why I have always been so fascinated by it.”
