Jeffrey M. Pollock, a partner in the Princeton office at Fox Rothschild LLP, recently received his Civil Trial Attorney Certification, awarded by the Supreme Court of New Jersey.
The New Jersey Supreme Court Board on Attorney Certification administers the certification program in New Jersey and is responsible for the operation of the certification program, including financial, policy and rule-making functions.
Pollock focuses his practice on complex litigation, environmental law and policyholder representation. He has significant experience in representing and advising clients on environmental liability and compliance obligations under CERCLA, brownfields, RCRA, the Clean Air Act and ISRA, Superfund and RCRA Corrective Action sites and representing parties before state and federal courts and applicable regulatory agencies.
Pollock has represented policyholders in litigation against insurance carriers as well as insureds in claims arising under a myriad of coverages, including Comprehensive General Liability (CGL), Directors and Officers (D&O), Errors and Omissions (E&O) and business interruption.
As editor of the Environmental Liability, Enforcement and Penalties Reporter, Pollock frequently speaks and writes on a variety of environmental issues. He is also active in the American Bar Association, the New Jersey and New York State Bar Associations, in the Risk Management Society of New Jersey and New York and serves on the Committee on Character for the Supreme Court of New Jersey.
In 2008 and 2009, Chambers USA named Pollock as one of the leading environmental attorneys in New Jersey.
Pollock clerked for Chief Judge Donald P. Lay, (Eighth Circuit United States Court of Appeals), after he earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law in 1987 and his B.A. from Hamilton College in 1984.
