Fox Rothschild LLP congratulates Julie Theall Earp, who is named among the “50 Most Influential Women” by The Mecklenburg Times.
This award honors women in business, government, law, education and nonprofits for their professional accomplishments, leadership experience and community involvement in the greater Charlotte region.
Earp, who serves as managing partner of the firm’s Atlanta, Charlotte and Greensboro offices, is a veteran litigator who concentrates her practice in labor and employment litigation as well as counseling and training. She was the former managing partner of Smith Moore Leatherwood LLP, a 130-attorney firm with six offices in the Southeast, which merged with Fox in 2018.
Earp has amassed significant experience throughout her more than 25-year career in a wide range of practice areas and venues. She has handled employment matters in both federal and state courts, as well as before the EEOC and the state and federal Departments of Labor. She has a depth of knowledge in management counseling and litigation defense for clients in the health care industry, including hospitals, substance abuse providers, long-term care facilities and physician practices.
Earp has been ranked by Chambers USA among the leading Labor & Employment attorneys in North Carolina for more than a decade. She has also been named an “Influencer of Law” by The Business Journals, among “The Most Admired CEOs” by Triad Business Journal and one of 100 “Women to Watch” by BizWomen.
She earned her J.D., magna cum laude, and her B.B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Georgia.
Earp will be recognized at the 11th Annual Most Influential Women Awards in April 2019.
