Kenneth Kecskes Appointed Vice Chair for Sustainable Development on the American Bar Association’s Climate Change Committee

Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to announce that Kenneth Kecskes, a partner working out of the firm’s San Francisco and Los Angeles offices, has been appointed vice chair for Sustainable Development on the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Climate Change, Sustainable Development and Ecosystems Committee.

The Committee is a cross-practice group within the ABA’s Section of Environment, Energy and Resources. The Committee’s goal is to be the premier source of information on the law and policies related to climate change, sustainable development and ecosystems. Members of the committee include representatives of federal and state governments, academia and private law firms.

Kecskes’ has advised clients on sustainable development matters throughout California. He has worked on large scale development projects in Alameda, Los Angeles, Monterey, Placer, San Diego, San Benito and Santa Clara counties. He has advised clients on green building laws and regulations, recycled water facilities, low impact development ordinances and compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). His interests include the effects of sea level rise on coastal and bay development, the impacts of climate change on water supply analysis, and accounting for greenhouse gas emissions in transportation and land use policy.
