Miravich of Fox Rothschild Voted President-Elect of Penn State Graduate School Alumni Society

John J. Miravich, a partner with Fox Rothschild LLP, has been voted president-elect of the board of directors of the Penn State Graduate School Alumni Society and will serve a two-year term as president beginning July 1, 2009.

Since 2005, Miravich has served as the representative of the Dickinson School of Law on the Society’s board and currently co-chairs the board’s communication committee.

As an attorney, Miravich concentrates his practice in municipal, school law and public finance. He also represents private entities in commercial litigation, including antitrust, employment disputes, unfair competition and construction and advises clients on litigation avoidance and insurance coverage issues.

Miravich currently serves as vice president of the Dickinson School of Law Alumni Association and as president of the Berks/Schuylkill/Lebanon Chapter of that Association. He earned his undergraduate degree from Bloomsburg University, graduating in three years, and his law degree from Dickinson.

The Society’s board of directors consists of representatives for each college and campus offering graduate programs. The alumni who serve on the board exemplify all graduate students and graduate alumni and participate in the development and implementation of the Society’s programs and activities.
