Norristown Ordered to Make Repairs at Unsafe Condo Building

A Montgomery County Court Judgerejected a Norristown condominium’s bid to hand over control of the building that was condemned as structurally unsound to an independent receiver. The judge ordered the municipality to pay for the remediation of the building.

"My clients have been out of their homes for 100 days," Brett Berman, lawyer for the condo owners, said in an e-mail. "They are victims and until they can go back home, they will continue to suffer."

Brett Berman was also quoted in The Times Herald regarding the judge’s decision.
