Her greatest lesson as an attorney for companies seeking investment has been that "the founder has to realistically assess her own strengths and weaknesses and bring people in to fill the gaps. It is very hard to move forward if the founder, though brilliant on the creative or technology side for example, has no sense of operations, finance or marketing. You need to be able to work with others while keeping proper control of your business."
