Philip L. Hinerman of Fox Rothschild Elected Chair of the PBA’s Environment and Energy Law Section

Philip L. Hinerman, a partner with Fox Rothschild LLP has been elected Chair of the Environmental, Mineral and Natural Resources Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA). The Section has approximately 500 Pennsylvania lawyers specializing in environment and energy law.

Hinerman, who is resident in Fox Rothschild’s Philadelphia office, has extensive experience in environmental regulatory litigation, including issues arising under the Federal Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), Natural Resource Damages, Resource Conservation Recovery Act, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Pennsylvania’s Storage Tank Act, Hazardous Sites Cleanup Act, Clean Streams Law and Land Recycling Act (Act 2).

A frequent witness and consultant to law firms regarding environmental matters, Hinerman is a member of the Rules Committee of the Pennsylvania Environmental Hearing Board. He is a Board Member with the Pennsylvania Environmental Council and is a founding director of the Delaware Valley Green Building Council.

Hinerman has been named one of the leading environmental lawyers in Pennsylvania by Chambers USA in 2008 and 2009.
