Rebecca has a diverse scientific background that includes degrees in physical analysis of biological interactions at surfaces, integrative biology and life sciences. With extensive knowledge of a wide array of molecular and cellular biology techniques, and research experience in ophthalmology, visual sciences and molecular genetics, Rebecca handles all aspects of patent prosecution for life sciences inventions by clients in the pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical and medical device industries.
Before Fox Rothschild
Prior to joining Fox, Rebecca was an associate and conducted post doctoral research in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences and the Division of Molecular Genetics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. Before that, she was a graduate research assistant in the College of Science at Florida Atlantic University.
Rebecca served as a grant reviewer in 2016 and 2019 for the National Science Foundation. She completed her Ph.D. thesis on specific elements of mitochondrial function in human ocular tissue.
