Ron has a transactional real estate practice with a depth of experience in structuring, documentation, financing, and negotiation of commercial and residential transactions. He represents clients in purchases, sales, leases and workouts. His services also extend to general real estate matters such as easements, title and boundary disputes and real estate tax assessment appeals.

When needed, Ron leverages his background as a land use planner and zoning officer to represent clients effectively before local authorities for zoning relief and subdivision and land development approval. He has represented public entities, such as counties, townships, boroughs and school districts, in various transactional and land use matters, including large-scale development projects. Ron also has particular experience with communication tower construction and development, as well as Marcellus Shale leasing and related real estate matters.

Ron also regularly represents commercial lenders in loan transactions, including construction, permanent and line-of-credit financings, as well as loan restructuring and workouts.

He complements his real estate practice with general business counseling. His experience covers formation of real estate holding companies, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions and advice on financing, as well as general employment issues, including severance agreements, non-disclosure agreements, restrictive covenants, employee handbooks and more.

Prior to joining Fox Rothschild, Ron was a partner in a boutique real estate law firm. 

Ron's 1994 law school article about regulation of bring your own bottle establishments has since been cited as authority in several Pennsylvania appellate court decisions.
