Sarah counsels a diverse group of health care clients on business matters and federal and state regulatory issues, including privacy and security, fraud and abuse, licensing, and other regulatory issues. Her practice also includes drafting legislation, advising health care clients facing litigation, and authoring health care-related amicus briefs. Sarah also advises clients on employment matters and medical staff, peer review, and privileging/credentialing issues.

Mergers, Acquisitions and Joint Ventures
Assists on corporate matters, including corporate governance, drafting and revising contracts and services agreements, and conducting due diligence.
Health Care Privacy and Security
Advises health care providers and employer plans regarding the receipt, maintenance, and disclosure of protected health information under both federal and state privacy and security laws.
Counsels clients regarding behavioral health laws and regularly presents on behavioral health liability issues.
Regulatory Compliance Programs
Drafts compliance programs and policies and develops coordinated quality improvement programs.
Before Fox Rothschild
Before joining Fox Rothschild, Sarah’s practice focused on health care litigation, including serving as second chair in two jury trials, and representing providers in disciplinary matters. In law school, Sarah externed for Senior U.S. District Court Judge Lawrence Karlton, Seattle Children’s Hospital, and the Seattle Community Law Center.
Prior to law school, Sarah worked for Planned Parenthood Affiliates of California, where she worked on health care-related legislation and political campaigns.
Beyond Fox Rothschild
Sarah is a member of the Board of Directors of the Washington State Society of Healthcare Attorneys. She has served as a pro bono attorney for the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project since 2011. She previously served as a pro bono attorney for the Homeless Experience Legal Project (2014-2015) and the Seattle Community Law Center (2013-2015).
