Shelly assists the firm's general counsel in providing risk management advice to Fox Rothschild's nationwide network of offices. In her role as associate general counsel, she applies the rules of professional conduct and other relevant law to identify and resolve conflicts of interest.

She first joined Fox Rothschild as conflicts counsel, providing analysis of conflict of interest issues and working with attorneys to help identify a means for resolution. Shelly also assisted in the maintenance of the firm’s ethical walls, clearing incoming laterals and handling other conflicts-related projects as they arose.

Before Fox Rothschild

Prior to joining Fox Rothschild, Shelly worked as an attorney in a Philadelphia-based law firm and as an associate at a nationwide firm. In these roles, she defended clients in commercial and general litigation matters, as well as represented debtors and creditors as a member of the bankruptcy practice.

Beyond Fox Rothschild

Shelly is a co-founder and the vice president of the International Alliance for Child Literacy (IACL), a nonprofit organization committed to improving the quality of education in the Caribbean and Latin America by establishing libraries and literacy programs.
