Tom handles a broad range of complex litigation matters in both state and federal court. He has extensive experience in product liability and mass tort litigation—particularly toxic tort/asbestos—where he has represented a variety of defendants, including manufacturers, suppliers, premises owners, and employers.
Tom also has significant experience defending clients in employment matters in connection with wage-and-hour misclassification and off-the-clock cases under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and state law, as well as disability accommodation issues, often within the context of mass, class, collective, and enforcement action lawsuits. In addition, he has experience in commercial disputes involving restrictive covenants, insurance coverage, and other general liability matters.
Tom counsels clients with respect to litigation strategy as well as avoidance, offering guidance from pre-dispute stages through resolution. He works collaboratively to formulate creative legal solutions with an eye towards maximizing cost-efficiency.
