Born in Puyo, South Korea, Wan-Mo is active in the Korean American community. A founding member of the Young Korean American Service and Education Center, Inc., and the National Korean American Service and Education Consortium, Inc., he has served on:

  • board of trustees, The Korea Report
  • National Executive Board, Asian Pacific-American Labor Alliance, AFL-CIO

Wan-Mo has contributed numerous columns and articles about the U.S. law and Korean American Community issues to the Korea Central Daily News, New York.
