The pending House settlement resolving three class action lawsuits involving student-athlete compensation and NIL will change how college athletics operate. However, the practical effect of the settlement terms remain unclear. We will discuss the settlement, its terms (and unresolved issues), and projected impact it may have on the industry of college sports. We will also talk about recent indications from the Trump Administration that it may get involved in some capacity or proposed legislation.
