Fox Rothschild congratulates Ben Snowden, who was certified as a Specialist by the North Carolina State Bar in the area of Utilities Law.

Snowden, a partner in the firm’s Energy & Natural Resources Practice, is an accomplished clean energy and environmental lawyer who advises clients on a range of transactional, regulatory and litigation matters. His clients include developers of renewable energy projects as well as large consumers of energy, and he frequently serves as outside counsel to industry associations in critical regulatory proceedings affecting the renewable energy industry in the Carolinas.

The specialty of Utilities Law focuses on the North Carolina Public Utilities Act (Chapter 62 of the North Carolina General Statutes) and practice before the North Carolina Utilities Commission (the Commission) and related state and federal regulatory bodies. By passing the exam, Snowden becomes one of only 20 certified Utilities Law Specialists in North Carolina.
