Scoring Points for Girls Sports
Generation Fox puts youth front and center in our charitable giving and community involvement.
Our partnership with Good Sports, a national organization that drives equitable access in youth sports and physical activity, is just one success story. We’re supporting children in high-need communities so they can achieve their full potential on the field and in life. It’s a slam dunk!
Working with Generation Fox and our Women’s Initiative Network, Good Sports provided new sports equipment to female athletes through its “She Who Plays” initiative. The program enables girls to take the field with confidence, comfort and no cost to their families.
In the first year of our partnership, we helped Good Sports provide $27,000 in new sports equipment to 200 girls coast to coast. That’s more than 1,000 sneakers, sports bras, pieces of training gear, practice apparel, socks, football belts, cones, rugby balls, speed hurdles and more.
Many of these girls were suiting up for the first time in the right gear to play. That builds confidence and belonging.
Real Impact, Real Stories
We are proud to partner with Good Sports to tear down barriers that prevent girls from participating in athletics.
Coaches are already seeing the difference the right equipment makes. “When our player received her new gear, she immediately joined her team for warm-ups and volunteered for drills,” said one coach. “She scored her first try and smiled bigger than ever. Her mom told us that having the right gear made her feel like she truly belonged — and for the first time, she talked about wanting to keep playing next season. That single donation gave her the confidence to see herself as an athlete, not just a participant.”
Another coach noted: “players were more excited to show up, participate fully and take pride in being part of a team…it meant we could focus more on skill development, teamwork and mentoring — rather than worrying about who had the proper equipment.”
Building Futures
Sports teach teamwork, resilience, leadership and discipline — skills that last a lifetime. Eighty-five percent of women who played sports say those experiences contributed directly to their professional success.
We’re proud to highlight the inspiring women in our firm who played and benefited from youth sports. Our partnership with Good Sports is more than a charitable initiative; it’s an investment in the future of girls who will grow leaders.
