Neale Johnson Elected to Governing Committee of ABA Forum On Construction Law
Fox Rothschild LLP congratulates Neale T. Johnson, who was elected to the Governing Committee of the American Bar Association’s Forum on Construction Law. He will serve a three-year term beginning September 1, 2023.
Members of the Forum represent all segments of the construction industry: owners, design professionals, general contractors, construction managers, subcontractors, suppliers, insurers and sureties. Johnson will work with fellow members to serve the construction industry through education and leadership.
As Co-Chair of the firm’s Litigation Department, Johnson focuses his practice on empowering construction industry stakeholders to solve tough legal problems. He applies more than 20 years of experience with construction dispute resolution to negotiate contracts that reduce the likelihood of disputes by allocating risks before project commencement.
Johnson also helps clients resolve disputes involving real estate, title insurance claims and coverage, financial services/banking, collections and general commercial disputes. He represents banks and borrowers in a variety of financial services disputes, including securities disputes, judgment enforcement, enforcement of loan documents, and foreclosures/claim and delivery proceedings to recover collateral.
Johnson is certified as a Superior Court Mediator by the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission and is an arbitrator and mediator on the American Arbitration Association’s construction and commercial panels.
He earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and his B.A. from the University of South Carolina.
