Fox Rothschild congratulates Deana A. Labriola, who was selected as one of 20 attorneys in the Triangle Business Journal’s inaugural Triangle Law Awards, which honors “outstanding attorneys in the Greater Triangle area.”

The award recognizes individuals for their recent accomplishments, exemplary representation of (and influence within) the most important business sectors of the Triangle, and direct involvement in local community and nonprofit activities.

Labriola, a partner in the Corporate Department in Raleigh, NC, centers her practice on working with founders, owners and management teams as outside general counsel to privately-held middle market businesses around the United States. She also routinely serves as lead counsel to sellers and buyers in mergers, acquisitions and debt and equity financing deals of all sizes.

Labriola is a leader inside and outside of the legal community, with her efforts focused on lifting up local, regional, national and international organizations in addition to elevating the women within them. Through this work, she weaves her love of sports and health into community action.

Active in the Triangle community, Labriola just served as a two-term board member of the YMCA of the Triangle and most recently chaired its strategic planning committee. She also sits on the Triangle Chapter of the American Heart Association’s Board of Directors.

Additionally, she is as an active member of the Board of Directors and the Chair of the Ethics Committee of USA Climbing, which is the national governing body overseeing the sport of competitive rock climbing (youth, elite, collegiate and paraclimbing) throughout the United States. Internationally, Labriola chairs the Disciplinary Commission for World Climbing, a non-governmental and non-profit organization that directs, regulates, promotes, and develops the sport of indoor climbing and climbing competitions around the world.

Labriola will be honored at a special ceremony in April.
