Entertainment Industry Contracts

This course provides a detailed review and analysis of the contracts involved in the making of a feature film and other media. Students will have hands-on experience with contracts from the inception of an idea to acquiring rights and hiring writers, directors and actors. The attorney’s role throughout the process of creating media will be examined. Students draft and negotiate contracts, draft client correspondence and create client files.
