Fox Rothschild congratulates Darrell D. Miller, who was presented with the Outstanding Alumnus award at the School for Creative and Performing Arts’ (SCPA) Future of the Arts Gala in Cincinnati.

SCPA is designed to enable students to achieve technical mastery in an arts field while they study a traditional academic curriculum. The Outstanding Alumnus award celebrates the achievements of alumni in arts, academics and community impact. Miller accepted the honor in recognition of his success as one of the industry’s “most influential dealmakers in the entertainment industry.” SCPA touted his “extraordinary career, his commitment to creative excellence, and his deep-rooted connection to the school.”

The Future of the Arts Gala featured performances by SCPA students and professional artists from organizations throughout the city including Children’s Theatre Cincinnati, Cincinnati Ballet, Cincinnati May Festival, Cincinnati Opera, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Cincinnati Symphony and Pops Orchestra and Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati. Proceeds from the event support the SCPA’s commitment to arts education.

Founding Chair of the firm’s national Entertainment & Sports Law Department and Managing Partner of the firm’s Los Angeles office, Miller has been a trusted adviser behind the growth of many celebrity brands. Drawing on more than 30 years of experience, he orchestrates pioneering deals that empower clients to build enduring careers and seize innovative business opportunities.

SCPA notes that Miller’s “legal brilliance and strategic counsel have shaped the careers of Oscar winners, industry giants, and beloved household names.” He represents esteemed Hollywood talents including Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Angela Bassett, Courtney B. Vance, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges and Taylor Tomlinson. His clients light up the screen in major projects on Netflix, FX, Disney and CBS.
