Heidy Vaquerano Named to LA Business Journal’s Leaders of Influence List

A partner in the firm’s Entertainment & Sports Law Department, Vaquerano represents musicians, producers, actors, writers, production companies, record labels, tech startups, private-equity funds and other entertainment industry players.
She possesses a deep understanding of the evolving laws and technology impacting the music industry. Vaquerano works with artists and rights companies at the forefront of a major shift in the industry to help capitalize on market opportunities.
Notably, she has represented intellectual property-focused investment firm HarbourView Equity Partners since its founding in 2021. “In the past calendar year, she was instrumental in the client securing a combined $3 billion in debt financing through securitization for catalogues,” the Los Angeles Business Journal reported. The debt financings were supported by more than 75 music catalogs from a variety of artists whose acquisitions were negotiated by Vaquerano and the Fox team.
