China is undergoing rapid changes as it transitions from an economy focused on manufacturing and exports to one focused on technology and services. At the same time, it is seeking to cement a spot as a leader in the world order. As part of these efforts, the government has implemented a legal and policy framework that fundamentally alters the environment for foreign businesses. This panel will discuss the changing legal and regulatory landscape, whether China still presents opportunities for foreign-owned businesses, and what steps foreign-owned businesses can take to protect and maximize their interests in China.
